Study and analyze system and application requirements; coordinate and document software system and application requirements to ensure functional and technical specifications are met using tools like Rational Software Architect, WebSphere Business Modeler, WebSphere Business Monitor, Microsoft Visio and UML among others; translate business/functional specifications into high level and detailed technical design specifications using Service Oriented Architecture, BPEL, frameworks like Hibernate and Spring; develop, compile, configure, test, deploy, troubleshoot and administer programs developed using: Java/ J2EE, ESQL, (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JNDI, JMS), Aix, XML, XSLT, XPath, XML Parsers, BPEL, WebServices, SOAP, WSDL, Websphere Application Server, IBM Websphere Portal Server, Websphere Portlet Factory, IBM WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere ESB, IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IBM MQ Workflow, WebSphere Transformation Extender, WebSphere Data Power; develop code on Eclipse based platforms like Rational Application Developer, WebSphere Integration Developer; develop relational database solutions using SQL, T SQL and / or PL / SQL on relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, among others; automate the deployment process using Linux / UNIX / Aix shell scripts, ANT / JACL build scripts. Working knowledge of quality control and quality management solutions from IBM Rational testing tools.

Salary: $90,000 per year.

Training: None
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as an Application Developer, Software Engineer, or in a related occupation;
Experience must include Java, J2EE, XML, WebServices, IBM WebSphere Portal Server and Rational Software Architect.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
