# Job Description
Responsible for the procurement of inbound materials and monitoring of inventory levels in support of customer requirements. Provide supplier metrics/rating system. Manage the integration of new parts and the part change process within the materials systems. Maintain records and reports to support materials function. Initiate corrective actions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND
Experience:
2 years of post-high school college; Associates degree preferred
One to three years of materials related experience
Expertise with QAD system and firm scheduling
Understanding of supplier metrics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Assist in managing the inventory optimization process
Manage and control obsolete inventory
Assist in preparing annual inventory forecast
Prepare monthly inventory forecast
Manage lead-time discrepancy process
Prepare reports/analysis for finance
