Service Manager - Wixom, MIDISHER is partnering with a leading heavy equipment distributor in Michigan to fill a Service Manager position on their expanding team in Wixom.
In this role, you will supervise and coordinate all shop service and repair activities.
This role will lead, develop, and mentor a team of 15 technicians.

Maintain and coordinate the entire service function, managing the service and repair of equipment implementing and executing the functions of price, quality and turn-aroundSchedule work and coordinate daily shop functions emphasizing what the expected time and cost goal is to complete the jobMeasure and evaluate jobs completed on time and at a profit establishedCommunicate with customers, management, suppliers and technicians to assure smooth operation of the shopAssist in trouble shooting and repair of equipment as needed to promote and support timely repair of equipment and the coaching of technicianMeet all safety goals of the department and promote a safe work environment through good housekeeping, elimination of safety hazards, responsiveness to employee suggestions etc.
What will make you successful:
High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred3
years of leadership experience in an equipment/vehicle service environmentWorking knowledge of heavy and light duty equipmentExperience working with CAT or other heavy equipment brands Good computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office applicationsMust have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
