Summary:
As a Warehouse Parts Runner, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operations of the warehouse by ensuring timely delivery and retrieval of parts and materials.
Your primary objective will be to assist in maintaining an organized and well-stocked warehouse, contributing to the overall productivity and customer satisfaction of the organization.
This position is supervised by the warehouse manager.
We are willing to train the right candidate for a full-time career with us.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Parts Delivery:
promptly retrieve and deliver the requested items to technicians in the field Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels, tracking incoming and outgoing parts, and reporting any discrepancies or shortages to the warehouse manager.
Order Picking and Packing:
Collaborate with warehouse personnel to fulfill HVAC install jobs by picking and packing the required parts accurately and efficiently Warehouse Organization:
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse by arranging parts and materials in designated storage areas Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines within the warehouse, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following proper lifting techniques, and actively participating in safety training programs.
Communication:
Maintain effective communication with warehouse personnel, manager, and other departments to coordinate daily tasks, provide status updates on parts delivery, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and delivery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
A team player who enjoys challenges.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Requirements:
Able to pass a driving record check and maintain a clean driving record Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and subsequent periodic drug screening Benefits & What We Offer:
