Manage global relationships with selected major suppliers.
Participate in global supply chain initiatives with other divisions worldwide.
Support Applications Engineering in development of accurate material budgets during proposal activities.
Negotiate cost with suppliers to receive the best discount structure possible.
Qualify vendors with documentation consistent with ISO procedures.
Procure and direct project management of turnkey processes from vendors for on time/budget delivery.
Plan, organize, direct and control the Supply Chain department applying specialized knowledge of raw materials and commodity purchasing procedures.
Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine current and future availability of material and create recovery plans when necessary.
Direct purchasing of material at lowest cost consistent with quality standards and delivery requirements.
Review and approve contracts, purchase orders and invoices.
Negotiate with suppliers to resolve problems on prices, deliveries or specifications.
Accountable for material order dates and delivery to coincide with shop floor requirements.
Organize and provide visibility of materials at the point of use for assembly by shop personnel.
Management of large capital purchases of high value equipment for on time delivery to meet demands.
Co-ordinate control of inventories.
Oversee shipping and receiving of products.
Responsible for incoming inspection processes and personnel.
Waste management co-ordination.
Oversee and direct the functions of staff.
Train and evaluate.
Follow all procedures and work instructions as defined in the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field - 5
