The Assett Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by thect and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned stores.
They utilize tools to minimize loss to the company, incvluding but not limited to identifying incients of theft and fraud, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store.
Other responsibilities include:
Preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries.
Preserving evidence interating with law enforcement The asset Protection specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on duty and carry out job respnsibilities in a manner that minimizes the rsk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the company.
They must demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
The primary duty is to provide excellent Customer Service by ensuring a one-stop experience the ideal candidate should possess the following:
Be atleast 18 years if age for unarmed roles; 21
years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years if verified experience.
1 year loss prevention experience or 2 years college criminal justice.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver's license will be required.
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in calm, problem solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
