Job DescriptionSummaryResponsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating Swiss Lathe and machining centers to fabricate parts and components while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Swiss Lathe Machines Monitor and inspect parts for conformance to drawings and quality standards Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to produce parts Maintain a clean working environment in the machine shop area Attend department and company meetings Comply with company's business and human resources policies; work rules; safety, OSHA and MIOSHA requirements; quality standards; standard operating procedures; requirements and applicable local, State, and Federal regulations Perform other related duties as needed and assigned Position RequirementsSkills and Qualifications Ability to communicate professionally and work well with others Specialized technical, trade, or business school in this or a related area of study (knowledge normally acquired through a journeyman / associates / or other 2-year program) 3 years of related experience Recommended Skills Human Resources Quality Management Safety Principles Standard Operating Procedure Team Working Occupational Safety And Health Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
