Position Overview:
As an Engineer in our manufacturing team, you will be an integral part of the production process, contributing your technical expertise to ensure the efficient and precise fabrication of printed circuit boards.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing engineering solutions, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.
Key
Responsibilities:
PCB Design and Layout:
Collaborate with design teams to translate schematic diagrams into PCB layouts.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in PCB manufacturing.
Work with the Production Supervisor to implement changes that enhance quality and reduce production costs.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of PCBs to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Analyze defects and implement corrective actions to enhance product reliability.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Provide technical support to resolve issues during the manufacturing process.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of PCB designs, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
Generate reports and analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in PCB design and manufacturing is highly desirable.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to PCB manufacturing.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
Experience with PCB assembly processes, including soldering and component placement.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
