Experience:
High school diploma or GEDRelevant degree such as Vocational Training, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Drafting, Engineering, Design, Architecture, Education, Computer, Construction, or Management preferredEssential Duties:
- Develop high level floor plans using AutoCAD software - Review the design and helps resolve the details not completely defined- Provide the required level of documentation for custom or standard projects- Occasionally meet with Administration and Leaders on project updates- As directed by the Facilities Assistant Manager, develops and maintains the integrity on the envisioned design, maintaining a cohesive design in all elements associated with the project through various phases of project development- The successful candidate will support project work and will develop one line diagrams, three line diagrams, control house layouts, protection panel layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, network and IRIG-B diagrams, cable schedules, material lists and calculations to support design- Implement drafting standards to maintain consistency in notes, layout and dimensioning schemes- Utilize blue prints and basic construction drawings- Develops resources to research all items required in our drawings to ensure that all detailed items will integrate seamlessly into the project and performs in a manner that fulfills the customer's requested requirements- Report the progress of the project to the senior engineer as needed- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company.
