What you'll do in this role:
Assume responsibility for daily operations of the Volunteer DepartmentCreate a sense of team and support amongst the Volunteer team, local branch leadership and staffAssist the Volunteer Coordinator in training and supervising interns for all office duties Oversee and audit departments in MI and IL to ensure responsibilities are being completed in a timely manner and collaborate and act as a cohesive teamAccountable for team volunteer hours performance and timely reporting of hoursTravel as needed to determine needs and offer support to out-of-state coordinatorsFollow national approach to integration and management of Volunteer services in all Hospice divisions Facilitate team meetings between all departments (Volunteer in MI, IL, PA, and with our other affiliate Companies)Foster continued and successful collaboration between marketing and communication departments throughout Hospice nationallyEnhance onboarding new volunteers between Volunteer Department and HR We are looking for compassionate Hospice Volunteer Supervisor with:
One (1+) years of supervisory and/or management experience, or demonstrated ability to manage a team, in a healthcare environmentProficient in Microsoft suite of productsReliable internet service and ability to office from home with minimal disruption to the workdayHospice Volunteer Coordinator experience preferredHomecare Homebase experience, preferredQuestions?
