Account Manager, Automotive Markets

The incumbent will be responsible for selling rubber to metal adhesives and weatherstrip coatings and flocking adhesives into a sales territory comprised of key automotive tier I and II component suppliers.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining existing sales and pioneering new business with key accounts by selling strategic products from varied automotive segments.
Generating new business to meet annual territory sales goals.
Actively coordinate regional and global account activities including implementation of account strategies.
Work internally with other functional groups to identify, evaluate and commercialize new products and technologies.
Gather, communicate and utilize market and competitive intelligence.
Mandatory Qualifications:
BS degree, preferable in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or other Science.
Minimum of 10 years selling experience and delivering new business in rubber to metal adhesives and weather-strip coatings and flocking adhesives or alternatively selling ancillary products such as metal surface treatments, elastomers, or elastomer raw materials.
Ability to work in a team environment and cultivate strong customer relationships along with the ability to lead cross-functional key account teams.
Possess and understanding of automotive adhesive and coatings technologies, including knowledge and experience using basic adhesive and coating applications and testing equipment.
Must be able to manage many projects simultaneously with good project management, organization, planning strong leadership skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; Telephone skills, especially high stress situations, addressing multiple programs and customer issues.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle, possess a valid driver's license & good driving record.

skills sufficient to independently manage e-mail communication and use foundation application programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
The ability to travel with as little as 24 hours notice. Overnight travel a minimum of 50% is required.
Non-Mandatory Qualifications:
MBA
Knoweledge of SAP and Business Intelligence programs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
