Description:
Responsible for the systems, reporting, forecasting, and internal controls associated with the finance function. Facilitate the development of the business strategy presented in the Strategic or Business Plan (SP) and annual Operating Plan (OP). Prepare the financial schedules used to present the operating reviews, SP and OP. Act as a business partner in the management of the business. Coordinate financial analysis.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND
Experience:
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to provide insight as a business partner Must possess a high level of independent judgement, professionalism and integrity Understanding of and the ability to apply the TS16949 standard Six Sigma Green Belt awareness/training
DESCRIPTION OF
Responsibilities:
Interact with local management team and divisional functional management team related to financial and strategic issues.
Review and prepare financial schedules including but not limited to SP, OP, monthly forecasts, business cases, strategic initiatives, cost changes, etc.
Participate in the development of financial and operational objectives and help drive the business toward the attainment of those objectives.
Review annual internal control self assessment and associated corrective actions Participate on / in various teams, meetings, committees involved with the management of the VM Service Group.
Lead, train, develop, and maintain a professional staff capable of delivering the goals and objectives of the finance organization.
MANAGERIAL/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Accounting Manager
Cost Accountant
Candidate Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Masters degree preferred
10 years of progressively increasing experience including management
Extensive knowledge of software applications and experience with Hyperion Enterprise, QAD/MFG/PRO, ALPHABLOX, preferred
Requires strong accounting knowledge and the practical application of such to promptly recognize issues, formulate accounting alternatives and/or proceduresEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
