Human Resource Manager

Established Michigan based company is looking to hire a Human Resources Professional to work onsite at a major client in Wixom.
This is an ideal job for a Human Resources professional with 10+ years of Human Resources experience as well as managerial experience to build on and expand their HR/Mgt skills while taking on a leadership role within the organization.
The main job focus will be to provide sound Human Resources direction, support and advice to the HR dept and our client.
Duties may include:
Hands on involvement with all aspects of Human Resources, with a specific focus on Payroll, Benefits and Recruiting/Staffing
Facilitate and coordinate communication with all parties involved regarding Human Resources related activities and issues
Help managers accomplish organization goals by establishing and/or interpreting human resources policies and procedures; identifying and evaluating human resources options and actions; warning against inappropriate actions.
Supports human resources by identifying and explaining request and documentation requirements; processing or forwarding actions;
Maintain human resources files and records
Maintains management and employee confidence by keeping human resource related information confidential.
Communicate and Interface with executive management team on human resources related issues
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years Human Resources experience in business/corporate environment (non-retail) including managerial responsibility for HR dept
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or directly related field
Specific, recent, current hands on Experience in the areas of Payroll, Benefits and Recruiting is required for this positions
Well versed in all areas of HR compliance including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc
Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal Communication skills
Strong Computer skills, Proficient with a variety of software and database packages
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to various management styles and work environments
Ideal candidate will have HR experience in a packaging/warehouse environment or a call center.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
